How to Set Up Wireless Keyboard and Wireless Mouse?

Step one: insert batteries
Wireless gadgets usually run on batteries, as they couldn't receive power from PC or electrical outlet. So the first thing for use is to insert batteries on the cordless mouse and keyboard according to the + – (plus, minus) compatibility. The batteries of these devices are usually rechargeable.

Step two: find a suitable place to place both the keyboard and mouse.
Wireless electronics let us say goodbye to messy wires. It is not necessary for us to move them around anymore. Why not find a suitable place you feel comfy.

Step three: install related software.
If your computer is Windows XP or newer OS, you don't need to install additional software – simply plug the receiver and windows will recognize.
For older version OS, you have to install the software. But it is not difficult at all. Just insert the disk into the CD ROM drive and do as the on-screen instructions instruct.

Step four: connect wireless receiver to computer.
If your computer is Windows XP or newer OS, you could skip this step.
For older version OS, you need to find an open USB port on your computer and plug the receiver in. After you plugged, your computer would start automatic configuration. Once done, a message will tell you the new hardware is ready or not.

After you have got everything done, the last thing you need to do is to test the installed keyboard and mouse. Open some webpage with your mouse and type some text with your keyboard. Make sure all the keys on the wireless keyboard and all the buttons on the wireless mouse have no problems. If any problem happens, you should look for your supplier to deal with.
